Junior/Senior Executive Telesales (Mandarin Speaker)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Telesales Executive to join our sales team. In this role, you will focus on driving sales through proactive outreach, managing incoming inquiries, building customer relationships, and converting leads into loyal customers. Experience in telemarketing, teleselling, and customer service is key to helping us grow revenue and provide excellent customer experiences. The ideal candidate will show strong dedication to converting leads into sales, be a team player by offering improvement ideas, and support colleagues and superiors. Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inbound Lead Conversion: Handle incoming inquiries from potential clients and convert leads into sales through effective communication and persuasive techniques.
- Outbound Lead Conversion: Conduct outbound calls (leads to be provided) and convert prospects into customers.
- Sales Strategy Development & Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize conversion rates. You must regularly exchange selling experience with team members, refining techniques and approaches for better outcomes. Work closely with marketing and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to lead generation and customer engagement
- Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales activities in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), track and monitor own performance consistently with overall department goals.
- Time Management: Ensure consistent call scheduling to maximize outreach and/or inbound calls handled and maintain a disciplined approach in completing leads assigned and follow up calls.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors’ offerings, products and services offerings to provide accurate information and answer customer queries confidently.
- Adherence to Regulations and Standard Operating Procedure: Stay informed about and comply with all relevant telesales guidelines and regulations (e.g. DNC, data protection, customer consent, record keeping). Operate effectively within regulatory and internal framework while maintaining ethical standards and building trust with prospects and customers.
- Customer Engagement: Address customer complaints regarding sales practices in a timely manner and escalate issues as necessary to ensure proper resolution.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant experience:
Minimum 1 year telesales function in insurance/financial services industry, with proven track record of achieving sales targets (executive level)
Minimum 3 years telesales function in insurance/financial services industry, with proven track record of achieving sales targets (senior executive level)
- Excellent conversational skills in English and Mandarin.
- Working knowledge in general insurance product is a MUST
- Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Certified with Singapore insurance qualifications will be advantageous.
- Technically proficient in MS Office, CRM software, softphone and with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
