Spray Coating and Assembly Team Leader (Furniture), Pontian

Job Summary: Organize employees to complete the production tasks of the workshop team, control product quality, reduce material consumption, improve employee overall skills, increase productivity, ensure equipment maintenance, and implement 6S management. Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate with the Production Planning Manager to prepare the workshop’s weekly and daily production plans. Allocate daily assignments based on the "Daily Production Plan" to ensure production tasks are completed as scheduled. 2. Manage, train, and guide team members. Show concern for employees' well-being, resolve issues in their work, and create a fair and equitable production environment. Maintain employee stability and enhance their overall competence. 3. Understand the technical and quality requirements, processes, and operational methods of products, particularly new ones. Guide employees in proper and standardized operations to ensure quality in the production process. 4. Familiarize with material consumption standards for various products and auxiliary materials. Strictly control material usage within standards and eliminate waste on the production floor. 5. Conduct employee skills training and continuously study and improve production processes. Identify and implement better operational methods and techniques to effectively boost labor productivity. 6. Enforce 6S standards on-site, ensuring a clean and organized workspace with clear and accurate data. Supervise employees to operate equipment and perform production tasks in compliance with safety and operational procedures. 7. Ensure the implementation of all company regulations within the team. 8. Perform daily maintenance and upkeep of equipment to ensure smooth production operations. 9. Address and resolve routine and unexpected issues within the team. 10. Complete other tasks assigned by management promptly. Job Requirements • Education: High school diploma or higher • Major: Knowledge of spray coating and assembly processes for steel furniture • Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in production workshop management or 2 years as a workshop technician. • Professional knowledge of production management • Familiarity with the operational processes of various production equipment in workshops • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills in management.
