Manufacturing Technician

This position is to perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Work with engineers in conducting experiments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: These may include, but are not limited to: • Responsible for device assembly, testing & troubleshooting/debugging. • Responsible for preventive maintenance for torque driver and equipment. • Communicate with equipment supplier regarding calibration certificates and calibration reports. • Ensure jig/fixture/testing equipment is established in the equipment database. • Raise quality notification for defective material or device. • Communicate with team regarding test/assembly issues. • Perform first level troubleshooting on the final testing failure. • Participate in continuous improvement activities. • Follow production ISO, WI and ESD standards.
