Data Analyst – Performance & Risk (Tableau)

Position: Data Analyst – Performance & Risk Industry: Energy Working Location: HQ Office, KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur Working Day/Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:30am – 5:30pm Working Duration: 12 months contract Salary: Basic range from RM3,000 – 4,500 (Based on experience + skills) with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + medical coverage Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated graduate with excellent analytical skills and an interest in cost and contract performance. This role involves supporting the Performance & Risk Management team by gathering and analysing data to improve decision-making and contract performance. Key Responsibilities: · Data Analysis: Gather and examine data related to project costs and contract results to derive insights. · Performance Tracking: Help track and evaluate financial performance of projects compared to contracts and budgets. · Reporting: Create reports and presentations to share findings with stakeholders. · PRM Support: Work with the PRM team to offer analytical support for various projects. · Continuous Improvement: Find ways to enhance data management and reporting processes. · Collaboration: Partner with different teams to ensure data insights are integrated into project planning and execution. Required Skills and Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Engineering or a related field. · Strong English language skills · Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau). · Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets accurately. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. · Interest in cost management, contract performance, and project risk management. Preferred Qualifications: · Experience or internship in a related field is a plus. · Familiarity with project management processes and tools.
