  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Position: ETP Competent Person with Certificate of CePIETSO-BP or/and CePIETSO-PCP

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor & Maintain Utilities: Oversee the operation and maintenance of ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) and WTP (Water Treatment Plant) by adhering to planned schedules and ensuring smooth execution.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain adequate chemical and spare part inventories, ensuring timely indenting and availability.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs within the Utility Department and ensure personnel are well-trained for their roles.
  • Maintenance Activities: Ensure routine and scheduled maintenance tasks are completed on time.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain equipment logs and monitor consumption to align with established norms.
  • Gap Analysis: Perform analysis on utilities and chemical consumption exceeding norms and implement corrective actions.
  • Equipment Health & Efficiency: Ensure all equipment is in optimal condition and operating efficiently.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe and healthy workplace, ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Coordination: Collaborate with internal customers on technical matters and provide support for their needs.
  • Budget Management: Prepare budgets and periodically monitor actual consumption to identify variances and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Audit Participation: Support and participate in internal and external audits to maintain operational excellence.
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute plant revamps, modifications, shutdown jobs, and other minor or major projects.
  • Plant Reliability & Cost Efficiency: Emphasize plant reliability, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Take responsibility for plant PM (Preventive Maintenance) activities to minimize downtime.
  • External Collaboration: Coordinate with internal and external agencies to ensure timely job completion.
  • Capex & Repairs Execution: Manage the execution of Capex projects, repairs, and refurbishment activities.
  • Cross-Department Interaction: Collaborate with HR, Administration, Workshop, Planning, Security, and other support services to ensure smooth operations of the Utility Department.

Requirement:

  • Age Range: 35 to 40 years.
  • Educational Background: Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering utility, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Certified Environmental Professional in Industrial Effluent Treatment System (CePIETSO-BP and/or CePIETSO-PCP).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ETP and WTP operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting, repair, and refurbishment skills related to ETP.
  • Solid understanding of chemical processes and related chemistry.
  • Familiarity with ETP and WWTP processes, including aerobic and anaerobic streams.
  • Candidates with prior utility and manufacturing industry experience will be prioritized.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
