Operation Cargo

Location: Shah Alam

Responsibilities:

• Mentor and coach team members, providing on-the-job training to enhance their capabilities.
• Amend cargo load plans based on weight of Unit Load Devices (ULDs) and aircraft weight and balance.
• Finalize flight booklists for outgoing cargoes and audit air cargo operations to ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Carry out safety and security checks, investigate breaches, and notify authorities of violations involving hazardous materials.
• Communicate shipping requirements to team members and customers.
• Manage staff conflicts and complaints.
• Supervise activities and handling of hazardous materials, including preparing schedules for incident response.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Transport Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cargo operations.
• Strong understanding of cargo handling procedures, aircraft loading, weight and balance.
• Experience in leading and managing teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Can start work immediately will be an added advantage.
