Job Description
1. Project Planning:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and milestones.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and constraints.
- Identify critical paths and potential bottlenecks, proposing solutions to ensure timely project completion.
- Coordinate and liaise with skylift/crane, lorry and other necessary operator as well as supplier for site installation
2. Manpower Planning:
- Assess manpower requirements for each project, considering skill sets, workload, and deadlines.
- Coordinate with HR and project managers to allocate resources efficiently.
- Monitor and adjust manpower allocation as needed, ensuring optimal team productivity.
- Anticipate and address potential staffing issues, providing recommendations for solutions.
3. Design Coordination:
- Perform site visits/audits and meeting to collect structural, electrical, and related design information for design of solar power system.
- Design proposals for grid-connected solar system projects including system components, for residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
- Create PV layout, electrical single line diagram, panel schedules or connection diagram for solar
- Electric system using CAD software.
- Prepare all technical documents and drawings for tender submission and compiling.
4. Bills of Quantity (BoQ) Preparation:
- Generate accurate Bills of Quantity for each project, detailing materials, labor, and other resources required.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure availability of necessary resources.
- Review and validate BoQs to minimize discrepancies and budget overruns.
5. Cost Estimation:
- Contribute to cost estimation processes by providing accurate data on manpower, materials, and other project-related expenses.
- Collaborate with financial teams to ensure budget adherence and cost control.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of project plans, manpower allocation, and BoQs.
- Generate regular reports for project managers and other stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- To keep up to date with technology advancement, legislations by Suruhanjaya Tenaga etc. as well as policies & incentives by the Government.
- Attend meeting with client for technical presentation and discussion.
- Manage the project documentation and filing according to ISO 9001:2015
Requirements
- Computer literate and able to use a wide range of software e.g. AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project, PVsyst, Helioscope and SolarEdge.
- Excellent written and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Engage in effective and timely communication with team members and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Able to work at height.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks, combined with highly disciplined approach is crucial for success in this role.
- Independent, resourceful and able to work under minimum supervision
- Possess own transport with valid driving license and able to travel to project locations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
