onsemi in ISMF is seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and results-driven Factory Automation Engineering professional to become part of our operations team. We are looking for a qualified Factory Automation Engineer to work in a team environment to perform production supply scheduling tasks to meet the customer's on-time delivery requirements. An excellent production planner is well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them. They are organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. Advanced communication and computer skills are very useful for the role
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree, majoring in electronic/mechanical/electrical/mechatronics/automation/chemical or its equivalent.
- With at least 2-5 years of related working experience with project management experience is an added advantage.
- Excellent knowledge in mechanical/electrical design (CAD design) or software programming (PLC/C#). Experience in Lean Manufacturing & Product/Process development are added advantage.
- Possess good interpersonal / effective communication skills to able to interface with internal/external customer with good command of English. Articulate technically and ability to simplify depending on audience.
- Strong planning and organization skills, ability to multi-task. Self-directed motivator.

Responsibilities:
- SME in equipment design – Hardware (Mechanical & Electrical) /Software to enhance operation efficiency thru OEE and productivity improvements.
- Upgrade existing equipment to meet objective and requirement set by internal/external customers.
- Manage and build new integrated or stand-alone equipment using the latest technologies with semiconductor, cleanroom and ESH standard requirements.
- Design, Reverse Engineer and Retro-fit vintage equipment, tools and fixtures especially on wafer handling.
- Creating of design function with mechanical, pneumatic & electrical drawings and maintenance of release package and revisions.
- Creating of a Bill of Materials.
- Project management – Overview schedule plan and mini plan of each task. Maintain and monitor the cost of project as per initial budget.
- Maintain project specification all time, document requirement history and maintenance of revisions.
- Review concept and design efforts from internal team/vendor to ensure that quality is being maintained. Point of contact for design reviews/brainstorming sessions with whole team.
