Executive IT

JOB (Brief Description):

The Executive IT is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure and network operations. This role involves ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of IT systems while supporting business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to managing IT assets.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

IT Infrastructure Management:

• Design, implement, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and data centers.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of IT resources.
• Conduct routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches for hardware and software systems.

Network Management:

• Manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Implement network optimization strategies and scalability plans.

Security and Compliance:

• Ensure IT systems comply with organizational security policies and regulatory standards.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection, and endpoint security solutions.
• Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Vendor and Asset Management:

• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of IT services.
• Manage IT assets, including procurement, inventory, and lifecycle management.

Support and Collaboration:

• Provide Level 2/3 support for escalated IT issues from the helpdesk team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure and network operations with business objectives.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, processes, and configurations.
• Prepare regular reports on system performance, incidents, and improvement plans.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
