Job Functions
- Prepare and analyse the monthly Income Statement and costs incurred. Review and assess actual performance against the budget, providing cause-and-effect explanations for the Group's operations, labor maintenance, administrative expenses, and both fixed and variable costs, while keeping top management informed.
- Ensure the timely preparation and submission of monthly financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statements, notes to the financial statements, and analytical reports on financial results.
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, encompassing accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and maintain effective reporting processes, along with accounting, management, and computerized systems.
- Regularly compile and prepare the Group's cash position, advising management on potential funding needs and the proposed use of idle cash.
- Implement and uphold strong internal controls to protect assets, prevent fraud, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs and capital expenditures, including effective cash management, optimizing interest rates on excess cash, and ensuring timely payments.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, merchant bankers, financial analysts, corporate bankers, and consultants regarding financial or treasury functions as required.
- Perform any additional duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate superior.
- Prepare any ad-hoc reports as requested by management.
