Objectives of the Position
- Drive and lead learning & development initiatives in Asia Pacific and deliver customized solutions for business units in Asia Pacific
- Manage the organization of regional talent development programs and events across Asia Pacific
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
Regional Talent Development Programs:
- Connect with the global & regional Talent Development Community to exchange and implement talent development best practices, concepts and tools in Asia-Pacific
- Customize concepts and tools to the context of Asia-Pacific and develop the roll-out strategy in the region
- Collaborate with the Learning & Talent Development Team, HRBP, Country HR/L&D, Regional HRBP Community and other relevant stakeholders to develop talent development initiatives in the region and support them based on service demand
- Develop into a subject matter expert, ensuring that the APAC L&D practice is at the forefront of industry standards / practices.
Customized learning & development solutions:
- In collaboration with the Learning Team, support HRBP/Country HR or L&D Community to develop customized learning and Development solutions on demand
- Project manage solutions that are developed and implement solutions where necessary
Manage talent development communication:
- Partner with Corporate Communications, collaborate with Learning team, Talent Development Team, L&D Community and D+I team, another other HR functions including Talent Acquisitions, C&B, Operational Excellence etc. to develop internal communications with the purpose of promoting corporate values, self-learning, use of online resources etc.
Support Talent Development Projects:
- Manage Global and Regional talent development projects when required. Identify the needs for customization and develop implementation approach to fit into the diverse needs of business and countries in Asia Pacific
Develop internal customer relationships:
- Build strong internal customer partnerships and acquire new partnerships / projects over time
Requirements
Education
- Bachelors degree in Social Sciences, Business, HR Management or related discipline
Working Experience
- Minimum 5 years of work experience related to talent management, learning and development and/or organizational development, combined with a strong execution and project management skill
Technical & Professional Knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills
- Works independently and is consultative in approach; has a point of view but is open to others’ ideas; strong drive for results and collaborate with others to get things done
- Exhibits drive to identify improvement areas and solutions to the problem through bringing in external perspectives and previous experiences; shows persistence and identify the best options to implement the changes even when there are obstacles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
