Inspector of Work Architectural

Job Description:

• This role will be responsible to supervise and coordinate Architectural works of projects assigned to meet construction time, schedule and budgets.
• To estimate manpower requirements, supplies and materials needed and make requisition to ensure proper storage and minimise wastage.
• To liaise with consultant and authorities on Architectural works and with C&S & M&E staff on all building works in connection with Architectural works.
• To conduct and take lead in Architectural subcontractors meeting and prepare minutes of meeting.
• To ensure all Architectural work are carried out as scheduled and in accordance to drawings and specifications.
• To recommend improvement and modification in design and construction techniques where necessary.
• To coordinate and obtain approval for all sample submission and shop drawings from consultants and propose method statements on job requirements.
• To monitor and keep a daily record of all activities at the construction site and to assist superior in preparation of reports for record and Management’s review.
• To keep proper record of quality assurance form / inspection form.
• To assist in the implementation of Integrated Management System (IMS) and integrated management of financial processes that affect the operations of other departments
• To check drawings in terms of accuracy and discrepancy.
• To carry out early contractor involvement (ECI) to ensure minimum mistakes in design drawings.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in site supervision
• Strong understanding of Malaysian construction standards, codes, and regulations.
• Registered as Inspector-Of-Works (IOW) with Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM).
• Registered under Board of Architects Malaysia

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
