  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Primary Guard is an IT & Cybersecurity Consulting Service company that provides innovative IT solutions and new computing technologies that help minimize the impact of cyber threats, improve business efficiency & maintain essential functions during or after a disaster occurs. Also, Primary Guard is a subsidiary company of Forest Interactive Sdn Bhd.

Job Description:

  • Assist the cybersecurity team in implementing and maintaining security controls in Cloudflare, AWS, CrowdStrike, and Elastic environments.
  • Monitor and analyze logs, alerts, and reports to identify security incidents or threats.
  • Regularly communicate with customers regarding planned environment changes or updates, particularly in relation to cybersecurity measures.
  • Assist in consulting, planning, and executing implementations of cybersecurity solutions alongside other projects as needed, ensuring alignment with best practices and customer requirements.
  • Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Support the onboarding process of new team members by sharing your expertise and knowledge internally and externally
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure the security of cloud-based services, applications, and endpoints.
  • Use security information and event management (SIEM) tools to detect and respond to security incidents.
  • Any other duties or projects assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirement:

  • Candidate must currently pursue at least a Degree or recently graduated in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Cloudflare, AWS, CrowdStrike, and/or Elastic security principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with network security protocols, tools, and technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools, such Nessus, Metasploit, or Burp Suite.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills (Google & ChatGPT skills)
  • Duration of three (3) months, preferably six (6) months and above.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CGPA: 3.0 and above.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3-6 months

Pay: RM800.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
