LOGISTICS ANALYST
WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS
POSITION SUMMARY:
· Review warehousing and logistics processes and procedures.
- Identifies, recommends, and support implementations towards improvements for optimize storage space efficiently while minimizing costs.
· Reviews and analyzes logistics and operational costs.
· Assisting in overall departmental improvement projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Initiating, assisting and driving improvement projects alongside the project leaders
- Project management, ensuring the resources periodic reviews to monitor progress timely completion of the projects.
- Inventory management.
- Constantly monitor optimal utilization of available warehouse space with most efficient storage configuration, i.e. Modular storage, fast / slow moving inventory.
- This has to be a constantly ongoing process based on the demand variation from customers.
- Analyze Logistics costs for non EXW shipments.
- This includes looking at statistical data and transportation routes and make recommendations to engaged forwarders to streamline towards minimal costs spending for freight / transportation.
- Maintaining the dept.’s KPIs dashboard
- Monitor on Time Delivery (OTD) for our Internal Customer (Production
- Monitor and ensure all shipments out to customer.
- Communicate with Internal and External department for process Improvement
- Monitor to achieve our Department KPI.
- Prepare weekly operational Report
- Other responsibilities may include:
- Participation in various improvement initiatives, process and cost related.
- Monitor 6S Activity in Warehouse
- Monitor Staff and Warehouse Environment, Safety and Health (ESH)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree In Logistics or Business Administration
- Minimum 5 Year Logistics or Warehousing Experience
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS (Task based)
- SAP Knowledge.
- Microsoft Office ( Excel , Word, Power Point)
- Problem solving technique using Lean Sigma approach ( DMAIC )
- Warehouse Management

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
