The Project Manager/Business Analyst is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of projects, ensuring effective planning, management, and delivery of assigned initiatives within agreed budgets and timelines.   • Extensive Project Management Experience: Over 7 years of experience in Project Management and Business Analysis, particularly within banking or financial institutions.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, building relationships and ensuring alignment on objectives.
  • Communication Excellence: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  • Organizational Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Certifications: PMI Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), showcasing knowledge and commitment to industry-standard project management methodologies.
  • Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management software, ensuring efficient monitoring, reporting, and management of tasks and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities and Achievements:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and agree upon detailed project plans with all key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Manage projects in line with the PMO’s methodologies to ensure consistent delivery standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively lead and manage the delivery of projects within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Coordinate and engage internal business resources and external vendors to ensure project resources are optimally utilized.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive stakeholder engagement plans to keep all parties informed and aligned.
  • Ensure all project communications are timely, relevant, and appropriately tailored to each audience.
  • Organize and attend status meetings, ensuring key information is delivered in advance to enable informed decision-making.

Risk and Issue Management:

  • Identify, monitor, and report on project risks and issues, ensuring that they are proactively addressed and resolved.
  • Lead the team in taking action to mitigate risks and ensure that potential issues are managed effectively to avoid project delays or budget overruns.

Resource Management:

  • Plan and coordinate resources effectively, ensuring the efficient allocation of both internal and external resources.
  • Proactively lead resources to ensure that all team members are working efficiently towards the achievement of project objectives.
  • Manage any outsourced Change-related services, ensuring proper agreements are in place and performance is effectively monitored and controlled.

Project Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Ensure that accurate status reports are produced and provide a clear picture of project progress to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Use project management tools and software to track and monitor project performance, ensuring tasks and deliverables are on track.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Provide valuable insights and feedback based on project experiences to improve future project execution and delivery within the organization.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of project processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
