Senior Manager, Ops Planning
Role Purpose
Manage On-Time-Performance(OTP) and future flights data and Lead Flight Deployment Working Committee (FDWC) and Operational Review Meeting(ORM) Sessions with analytical insights. To support Chief Pilot, OCC and Senior Manager, Ops Planning on Strategical plans in a cross functional manner across all operating departments to manage On-time-Performance.
Key Accountability
- Accountable for statistical analysis of operational data for operational improvements and OCC Ops Planning management reports and Flight Monitor System requirements. Responsible to maintain, update and store all all delay codes, data, attributes and all parameters - MH and FY captured from FMCS, Power BI and to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Accountable for all flights movement data updates especially on delay reasons and codes are accurately updated in FMCS system, daily reports such as Daily Preliminary OTP Review and OTP statistics and to have a constant engagement with respective departments on all operating matters ensuring data accuracy.
- To manage FDWC and ORM and link with OCC Analytics and Business Intelligence to provide analytical insights on operational performance.
- Supports Senior Manager, Operations Planning in operational and administration duties including regular engagement with external parties, staff rostering matters, projects as and when required.
- In BCP Scenario, to dispatch all relevant/important documents from Ops Control Centre to be delivered to crew ensuring minimal disruptions to operations.
Qualifications & Working Experience
- Degree in any related field preferably in Operations with 0-2 years of working experience in any industry.
- Diploma in Finance, Engineering, IT or any related fields with 2 years of working experience in Operations or Statistics.
Skills & Knowledge
- Wide knowledge in Operations departments in Airline/Airport/Station Management/Terminal Centre Operations is an advantage.
- Good decision making ,resourceful and have analytical skill with good time management and stress management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with effectively communicate in English, both writing and verbal.
- Good knowledge on Microsoft Apps (Excel, Words, PowerPoint, PowerBI etc.) Certification in Excel and PowerBI is an advantage.
- Must have a valid Malaysia driving license.
