Qualifications:-
- Ideally with a relevant degree, apprenticeship or diploma in Hospitality or restaurant management.
- Minimum 5 years work experience in Food and Beverage
- Minimum 2 years work experience as Outlet / Restaurant Manager in a hotel/restaurant with good standards.
Job Scopes:-
Customer Service:
- Understand and provide excellent customer service – goes above and beyond!
- Ensure a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere for all guests and Kloud Krew
- Handles all guest inquiries/complaints/feedback in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
Operational:
- Direct and supervise all aspects of restaurant operations, including but not limited to, dining area management, food preparation, service standards, and cleanliness.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficiency and consistency in service delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with kitchen & service team to ensure adequate supply of food, beverages, crockery, cleaning products, and uniforms.
- Manage restaurant staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensures that brand standards have been implemented.
- Works closely with the Hotel Manager and the MVR team in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
- Seats, takes orders and serves food and beverage to guest according to the established sequence and procedures
- Ensures the restaurant and cafe are well maintained and clean at all times with consistent positioning and setting of all chairs and tables. Keep the space aesthetic!
- Can fully use and understand our Food and Beverage Computer Systems.
- Manage cash handling process, ensuring validity of payments and safe keeping of the cash.
- Strictly adheres to all policies and procedures issued by the Finance with regard to cashiering and cash handling. Lead the team to also adhere to our SOP’s
- Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all food and beverage items on the menu and have the ability to recommend Food and Beverage promotion and up sell alternatives.
- Responsible to make sure all equipment are working properly, reporting if anything is malfunctioning and organizing repairs when required with management approval.
- Checks incoming food products and ensures that all food is in accordance with order sheets and receiving records
- Assists and monitor closely the requirements of food quality and order the food items at the right time
- Be familiar with all coffee, tea, beer, wine and distilled spirits knowledge and be capable to provide excellent beverage service to guests.
- Control food costs through the proper management of food and drink inventories on daily basis and payroll expenses for both full time employees and part time casuals.
- Implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract guests and increase revenue
- Coordinate special events, themed nights, and other activities to enhance the dining experience.
- Ordering F&B and all other supplies and picking up orders from Kota Kinabalu
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to maintain competitive standards.
- Ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met whether related to the team or to industry standards.

- Salary Range: RM 3,500 to RM 4,000
