Field Service Coordinator (Turbo Machinery) (Permanent)

Position: Field Service Coordinator (Turbo Machinery)
Location: Kenanga International, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur
Tenure: Permanent

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate technical, administrative, and commercial activities for turbo machinery installations, maintenance, and service.
• Prepare quotations for service, troubleshooting, installations, and commissioning.
• Define specifications and evaluate subcontractor quotes for field service tasks.
• Lead coordination and communication among all parties involved, including organizing kick-off and site inspections.
• Ensure safety and compliance by preparing work instructions, Risk Assessments, and HSE evaluations.
• Arrange necessary consumables, tools, and equipment for field operations.
• Provide technical and administrative support to field service personnel, including debriefing and reporting.
• Ensure cost control and financial management for field service projects.
• Complete quality documentation in compliance with MAN Turbo standards.
• Regular reporting to management on commercial, technical, and personnel matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with rotating equipment (steam turbines, turbo compressors, expanders).
• Knowledge of technical standards and turbomachinery.
• Strong customer orientation and intercultural skills.
• Ability to maintain high technical standards and handle challenging situations.
• Good reporting and communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational and analytical thinking, with a focus on cost and results.
