Job Description

  • Ensure the safety of personnel through compliance with Workplace Safety & Health Act and other legislations
  • Anchor and manage the safety management system for the entire contract site
  • Conduct routine safety audit / inspections/ CWalk
  • Carry out and encourage hazard reporting
  • Organize safety education program such as training, talks, and other activities which will develop and maintain the interest of the persons employed on the site to establish a safe and healthy working environment
  • Report and Investigate any incidents or accidents that take place within the site and recommend corrective action needed to be taken to prevent recurrence
  • Document all safety violations or unsafe conditions/activities; ensures corrective measures are immediately implemented; follows through to ensure corrections have been made
  • Stay abreast of current and emerging technical and professional aspects of this position
  • Manage and control PTW System
  • Work closely with the HQ Safety team

You are:

  • Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (RWSHO)
  • At least 3’ relevant experience in a HSE role
  • Well versed in HSE regulations and practices
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to a changing business environment
  • Recognised Diploma or above from a recognised tertiary establishment
