M&E Coordinator

Job description:

The duties and responsibilities of the Engineer M&E shall include but not limited to the following:

• Responsible for all M&E matters and to ensure smooth implementation of programs and overall planning and coordination whenever M&E aspects are involved.
• Lead and coordinate with consultants, main contractors and sub-contractors for M&E works procedures of the assigned projects.
• Undertake all testing & commissioning activities from factory tests to integrated systems tests in the final stage of projects
• Witness contractor’s testing and commissioning results and confirm compliance
• Monitor and track the master and detailed work programme in order to complete the project within the agreed timeline.
• Monitor M&E work progress, drawing status, catalogues and sample approval status.
• Participate in site meetings, reviews inspection schedules and complete inspection checklists.
• Prepare assessment to sub-contractors interim claims.

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder preferably in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years working experience in construction works and high rise building.
• Essential knowledge and experience in managing M&E works in handling project planning, budget and cost control, safety and quality system implementation
• The person must posses, but not limited to, the following essential skills and qualities:

- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English

- Pleasant appearance and disposition

- Strong interpersonal

- Good computer knowledge

- Trustworthy, integrity and strong sense of responsibility

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
