Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our printing presses and associated equipment. You will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a variety of complex machinery, keeping our printing operation running efficiently and on schedule.

Please note this job position's working hours is night shift.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on printing presses, conveyor systems, and other machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
• Quality Control - Monitor the printing process to ensure high-quality output.
• Adjust machinery settings to maintain print quality.
• Perform tests and inspections to detect malfunctions or defects.
• Safety and Compliance - Adhere to safety regulations and protocols. Conduct safety inspections and maintain safety records.
• Report on maintenance issues and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• Possess Diploma in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or higher qualification with relevant work experience.
• Preferably computer literate.
• Candidates with independent, mature and adaptable to team work.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Hands-on mentality with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical personnel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM2,200.00 per month
