JOB DETAILS

Position: Finance Specialist – Statutory Accounting Operations

Company Industry: Oil & Gas (Shared Service)

Working Location: Menara Tan & Tan, Jln Tun Razak, 50400 Kuala Lumpur

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 0800 - 1700

Working duration: 6 months with PERSOLKELLY (maternity replacement)

Salary: RM4,500 – RM6,500 (based on experience and qualification)

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and analyze Bad Debt Reserve for major counterparts, collaborating with functional teams for accurate reporting.
  • Operate across various ERPs (Oracle Oscar/Pascal) to perform analytical reviews and variance analysis.
  • Work with internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with statutory address issues, and extract insights with root cause analysis and actionable recommendations.
  • Continuously evaluate, maintain, and improve financial processes for greater efficiency, working with minimal supervision.

WHO CAN APPLY?

  • Have Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA.
  • Have a relevant working experience in statutory. Big 4 accounting experience is an added advantage.
  • Possess good knowledge and understanding of Statutory and IFRS/US GAAP Accounting.
  • Be able to speak English with good oral and written communication skills.
  • Have good analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as problem-solving skills.
  • Have knowledge or experience in Oracle family ERPs/applications.
  • Years of experience: 2-6 years
