  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Application Engineer

Position Description

As an Application Engineer, you will be the key to ensuring customer satisfaction and application support for the Project Team in Honeywell Building Solutions. There will be opportunity to be exposed to the range of products in relation with that of Honeywell's Building Management System (BMS) - where automation & control extends to that of a building's operations - HVAC, Fire Safety, Lighting, Card Access, CCTV and others.

Responsibilities:

* Act as a primary technical resource & customer support for various project sites

* Programming of controllers used in our solution offerings

* Prepare and vet engineering submissions.

* Review drawings and design of network infrastructure

* Installation/review of control system logic in controllers

* Testing & commissioning of software and applications

* Provide Technical & Product support to internal & external customers

* Consultation regarding application of Honeywell's products and technologies

* Review and appraise specifications of projects

* Provide technical support data for the Contracts, Sales, Project and Service teams and help negotiate technical issues at customer level

Requirements:

* Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related

* Minimum of 5 years' Service/Technical Support experience in Controls/Process

Automation or related field

* Knowledge of Automation/Control systems within buildings (HVAC/Fire/Security)

* Background in DDC, PLC and/or HMi based programming preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM45,000.00 per month
