Lorry Driver

The Lorry Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods using a lorry. The role requires compliance with Malaysian traffic laws, vehicle maintenance, and customer satisfaction during deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving & Transportation: Safely operate the lorry, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to road safety and traffic regulations.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily checks, report issues, and keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and mileage records, as per Malaysian regulations.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow safety guidelines, company policies, and ensure compliance with relevant Malaysian laws (Road Transport Act, Occupational Safety, SPAD regulations).
• Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service to customers during deliveries.

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum of SPM or equivalent.
• Experience: 2+ years of lorry driving experience.
• Skills: Knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations, strong communication, and customer service skills.
• Licenses/Certificates: Valid Class D or E driver’s license, Public Service Vehicle (PSV) license (if applicable), JPJ certification.
• Ability to drive a 5-ton lorry

Physical Requirements:

• Must be in good health, capable of long periods of driving and lifting heavy goods.
