Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Mechanical Engineer located in Bayan Lepas. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing machines and developing mechanical systems and products for various industries. The day-to-day activities include conducting research for new products and systems, determining design specifications, creating detailed drawings and schematics, testing prototypes, analyzing data, and ensuring that the designs meet safety and regulatory standards. The Mechanical Engineer will also collaborate with other engineers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed within timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Min a least 2-5 years working experience (required).
  • Experience working in the mechanical engineering field(Semi-Con Industries/ Photonic Industries)
  • Extensive experience with design software such as AutoCAD (required), SolidWorks, and CATIA
  • Proficiency in mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in project management and ability to adhere to tight schedules and budgets
  • Knowledge of industry safety and regulatory standards
  • Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping is a plus
  • Experience with AutoCAD and designing the machines is a plus

Basic Salary : RM3,000 - RM6,200

Working Hours: 9.00 a.m - 6.00 p.m (Monday to Friday)

Working Location: Multi-Kinetic Technology located in Batu Maung, Penang

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM6,200.00 per month
