The successful candidate will be responsible for deburring and polishing processes, including grit blasting, tumbling, sand belting, drag polishing, and ultrasonic cleaning. Key tasks include following work instructions, maintaining equipment, and conducting visual and gauge inspections to ensure product quality.
What will you be doing?
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various machining tasks, including deburring, polishing, and visual inspection of components to ensure quality and timely delivery. Key duties include operating deburring equipment, handling product traceability, conducting line clearance, and maintaining accurate SAP transactions. The candidate will also be required to support daily tasks assigned by the supervisor and uphold 5S practices to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
In addition to production responsibilities, the candidate will participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives. This includes following safety protocols, engaging in process improvement activities like Kaizen, and supporting tasks across finishing, material deployment, and quality control. The role requires the completion of training and documentation, such as scrap and training records, to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
What will you need to be successful?
The ideal candidate should possess a high school education or its equivalent. Previous experience working in a machining manufacturing environment is preferred, particularly in roles involving metal removal, polishing, and visual inspection processes. Candidates should have a steady hand for detailed handwork and the ability to quickly learn new information and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is essential for effective communication.
The role requires physical stamina, as it involves frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and reaching. Tasks will require the use of hands, wrists, and upper extremities to handle products and materials of varying weights and sizes. Candidates must be adaptable to the physical demands of the position and maintain consistent attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.
