We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Intern to join our finance team. In this role, you will assist in managing and collecting outstanding payments from customers, ensuring that accounts are up-to-date and that collection processes are handled efficiently and professionally. This role supports North America time zone and working days.
This position is part of the Order to Cash Department, Pall Center for Financial Services (CFS) and will be in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. This position is responsible for managing the North America region portfolio.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Manage and collect on an assigned accounts receivable (A/R) tasks across multiple business segments. Identify “at-risk” receivables and manage system strategies to maximize collection aging goals and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Research and reconcile customer accounts using Oracle systems and tools.
- Ensure timely payment of Beckman Coulter receivables and resolve customer issues preventing payment.
- Negotiate and implement payment solutions within company policies and procedures, in collaboration with the Credit Analyst.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers to enhance the overall customer experience.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Candidate pursuing an undergraduate degree in higher learning institutions, either in Malaysia or overseas, in related Finance disciplines where internship is a mandatory part of course completion. Candidate must be in final year of studies.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Responsibility and accuracy in the completion of received task, able to solve urgent matters and work under pressure.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Required to work on shift from 9.00pm to 6.00am MYT *This is in line with your appointment role to support the US team.
