Position: Kitchen Crew
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Kitchen Operations: Support the cook in daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Cleaning and Dishwashing: Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
- Material Preparation: Measure and prepare ingredients for cooking as per instructions.
- Ingredient Cleaning and Preparation: Clean and prepare various ingredients, including, peeling onions, cleaning and cutting vegetables, preparing chicken, beef and prawns.
- Kitchen Cleaning: Ensure all kitchen equipment and areas are clean and organized, including worktops, stoves, and grease traps.
- Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Qualifications and Skills:
- No prior experience required, but previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
- Having Typhoid Certificate and Food Handling Certificate is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
