Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in all phases of the design process, from concept development to project execution.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to gather and understand design requirements and preferences.
• Conduct research on design trends, materials, and products to inspire and enhance design solutions.
• Create mood boards, sketches, and detailed renderings to visualize design concepts.
• Draft accurate and detailed floor plans, elevations, and other technical drawings using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).
• Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials that align with the project’s objectives and client expectations.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure materials and designs meet quality and budget requirements.
• Assist with on-site measurements and assessments to ensure the feasibility and alignment of designs with spatial requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and advancements to continuously improve design approaches.
• Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design, specifically in kitchen cabinetry, wardrobe, or related design fields.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.) and MS Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of materials and design trends in the cabinetry and interior design industries.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality design solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, client-focused, creative, and team-oriented.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
