Preventive maintenance technician (Johor area)

Job Description: Quaver Maintenance Sdn Bhd is seeking skilled and detail-oriented Preventive Maintenance Technicians to join our team. The role involves conducting preventive maintenance tasks, ensuring rotating equipment operates efficiently, and submitting detailed reports to supervisors. Key Responsibilities: - Capture images as per report format and submit them to supervisors. - Identify and report abnormal findings in rotating equipment. - Prepare work permits as required. - Understand basic lube oil specifications, including viscosity differences and types of oils (gear, hydraulic, refrigerant, and mineral oil). - Interpret basic sectional drawings of rotating equipment. - Submit daily preventive maintenance reports, summaries, and progress updates. Manpower Requirements: - 1-2 years of experience in rotating equipment overhaul. - Good knowledge of pumps, air compressors, centrifugal compressors, turbines, fans, blowers, and cooling towers. - Equipped with personal tools. - Possess a valid AESP is an advantage(Authorized Entrant and Standby Person for Confined Space) pass for working with cooling tower equipment. - Willingness to work as part of the Preventive Maintenance Team (less hands-on overhaul involvement). - Availability to work on weekends (No overtime on weekends unless required for special tasks or shutdown activities). Documentation Requirements: - Prepare and submit daily preventive maintenance reports, summaries, and records. - Provide daily progress status updates.
