Technician

Position Overview

The Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing packaging machinery and equipment supplied by Panmatex Trading Sdn Bhd. This role ensures customer satisfaction through technical expertise, timely service, and effective troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning

• Install and commission packaging machinery at customer sites.
• Ensure proper calibration and functionality of equipment.

  Preventive Maintenance

  • Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure the longevity and efficiency of machinery.
  • Provide recommendations for upgrades or part replacements.

    Troubleshooting & Repairs

    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with machinery and equipment.
    • Replace defective parts and test machinery to ensure proper operation.

      Customer Support

      • Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
      • Train customer personnel on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.

        Documentation

        • Maintain detailed service reports, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.
        • Update maintenance records and provide feedback to the management team.

          Inventory & Parts Management

          • Manage tools and spare parts inventory effectively.
          • Coordinate with the purchasing team for timely replenishment of spare parts.

            Compliance & Safety

            • Adhere to company and customer safety standards during all service operations.
            • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and certifications.

• Fresh graduate and SPM leavers are encourage to apply.
• Excellent hands-on skills with eye for details
• Ability to work independently.
• Positive attitude and responsible character.
• Pleasant personality with focus on excellence in customer service.
• Prior working experience will be an added advantage.
• Self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skill.
• Possess self-confidence and be able to actively interact with all relevant parties.
