Senior Lifestyle Events Planner

We are looking for a Senior Lifestyle Events Planner to oversee and manage a diverse range of lifestyle events at our Showhouse and Clubhouse, conveniently located near Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur. This is a remote role, but proximity to the event location is required for smooth coordination and successful execution of events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all events are executed to perfection, from scheduling to logistics, maintaining the company’s high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Scheduling:

  • Collaborate with our CEO to confirm event dates before finalizing.
  • Plan and organize 2 events on weekdays at 11:00 AM, and 2 events on alternate Saturdays.

Activity Coordination:

Organize a diverse range of lifestyle activities, including:

  • Wellness Activities: Talks, Zumba, Chair Yoga, Sound Baths
  • Recreational Activities: Mahjong, Board Games, Guided Meditation
  • Crafting Workshops: Candle Making, Soap Making, Painting, Bead Making, Sewing
  • Wellness Therapies: Aroma Therapy, Blood Pressure Testing, Laughter Therapy, Breathing Therapy

Event Logistics:

  • Manage food and catering arrangements, ensuring refreshments are provided at the end of each event.
  • Coordinate parking arrangements and liaise with building security to ensure event smoothness.
  • Oversee event registration 15 minutes before the event begins using QR codes for check-ins.
  • Distribute small gift bags or tokens of appreciation to attendees.
  • Collect contact details from attendees for future event engagement and communication.

Invitations & Communication:

  • Send out event invitations using GHL Blast Sheets to all clients.
  • Maintain and update RSVP sheets, tracking guest responses to ensure accurate attendance.

Instructor Management:

  • Contact and coordinate with instructors for each event, ensuring they are available and prepared.
  • Handle post-event payments for instructors in a timely manner.

Budgeting & Financial Management:

  • Oversee event budgets, ensuring timely updates and management to stay within allocated limits.

Requirements:

  • Proximity to Sri Hartamas, KL (location of the Showhouse and Clubhouse).
  • Willingness to work weekends when required for events.
  • Ability to work remotely but with a readiness to attend events in person when necessary.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Prior experience in event planning and coordination is preferred.
  • Ability to work 4-hour shifts, as required.

Remuneration: RM15.00 per hour.
