Bookkeeper Position
(Fluent English & Mandarin Speaker Required)
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Salary: RM 4,000 - RM 5,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications, with potential for increases based on exceptional performance)
Work Hours: Weekdays, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, excellent organisational skills, and fluency in both English and Mandarin. A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
1. Bookkeeping & Financial Management
- Maintain accurate financial records for all transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and budgets.
2. General Accounting Support
- Provide support with data entry, document management, and audits.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Deliver accurate financial information to senior management.
- Perform basic operational and administrative tasks as required.
3. Work Setup
- Initial training and onboarding will take place in-office.
- Once onboarded, there is an option for a hybrid work arrangement, allowing part-time work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Diploma in Accounting or equivalent certification.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
- Minimum typing speed of 50–60 words per minute.
- Proficiency in payroll processes.
- Expertise in accounting software such as Odoo, QuickBooks, or Xero.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Salary & Benefits
