Key Accountabilities:
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Assist with reviewing of expenses and other records as assigned.
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
- Assist Assistant Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
- Assist with other accounting projects.
- Liaise with other departments for related matters.
- Assist in the preparation of SST submission.
Team Work
- Attend and contribute to team meetings in a positive manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to apply new ideas, practices and tools to improve the team’s effectiveness.
- Perform other duties as required, including covering absences/leave where required
Job Requirements:
- A College or University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
- Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, working on more than one issue simultaneously.
- Great attention to detail.
- Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
