Retail Marketing Specialist
Job Overview:
We are looking for an energetic and organized Marketing Executive to join our team at Nu Sentral Shopping Centre. The Marketing Executive is responsible for managing casual leasing opportunities, coordinating events, and acting as a liaison with tenants. The role also includes managing social media platforms, maintaining the mall’s website and digital directory, and handling documentation, credit control, and reporting tasks. This position requires a proactive individual who can cultivate partnerships, secure sponsorships, and drive engagement through effective marketing initiatives
Key Accountabilities:
1. Casual Leasing (Promotion Space, Media Space, Pushcarts, and Pop-ups):
- Manage the leasing of promotional spaces, advertising spaces, pushcarts, and pop-ups.
- Ensure proper documentation, client satisfaction, and renewals for leasing agreements.
- Prepare leasing proposals and coordinate with potential tenants and vendors.
2.Event Planning & Organization:
- Plan and execute internal and external events, working with tenants and sponsors to ensure success.
- Oversee event logistics, budgeting, and vendor relationships.
- Create detailed event proposals and post-event reports.
3. Tenant Liaison:
- Maintain effective communication with tenants, addressing their marketing needs.
- Assist tenants with participation in mall promotions and collaborative campaigns.
- Act as the point of contact between tenants and mall management for event coordination.
4. External Partnerships & Sponsorships:
- Source, negotiate, and manage external partners and sponsorships for mall events and initiatives.
- Build long-term partnerships that benefit both parties and align with the mall's branding.
5. Social Media & Digital Management:
- Oversee the mall's social media channels, website, and digital directory.
- Develop content strategies, schedule posts, and engage with online audiences.
- Monitor digital performance and suggest improvements to enhance engagement.
6. Documentation & Administrative Work:
- Handle the administrative tasks associated with casual leasing, marketing activities, and event planning.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and manage relevant licenses and permits for mall promotions and events.
- Maintain organized records and generate reports for management.
7. Brand Identity:
- Ensure all marketing, communications, and promotional activities are aligned with the mall’s brand identity.
- Maintain consistency in the brand’s visual and messaging elements across all platforms and touchpoints.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance and strengthen the mall’s brand presence in the community.
8. Credit Control:
- Manage the credit control process for casual leasing, ensuring timely payments from tenants and vendors.
- Coordinate with the finance team on invoicing, outstanding payments, and financial reporting.
9. Reports & Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on marketing performance, leasing activities, and event success.
- Analyse data to improve strategies for future marketing efforts.
