Given this success in our existing markets, Shark Ninja has embarked on a bold plan for growing APAC business, in which Korea plays a critical role. We have taken over this market from our distributors, so that we can run them directly and drive strong growth, behind innovation and investments.

The Role

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Field Sales Rep to join our team. This role will be based in Malaysia.

Here are some of the exciting things you’ll get to do:

  • Store Visits: Regularly visit assigned retail locations to assess product displays, gather feedback, and make adjustments to improve visibility and sales.
  • Sales Management – build relationship with channel partners to expand distribution network and increase retail sales revenue.
  • Stock Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels at retail locations to ensure products are always in stock. Replenish shelves, as needed, to avoid stockouts or overstocks.
  • Promotional Support: Set up and update in-store promotions, seasonal displays, and special campaigns to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
  • Sales Support : Assist store staff in understanding product features, benefits, and key selling points. Provide training or support for retail employees so that they communicate effectively with customers.
  • Market Research: Gather information on customer preferences, competitor activities, and market trends to provide feedback to the marketing and sales teams.
  • Reporting: Maintain regular reports on stock levels, merchandising compliance, and sales performance at assigned locations. Provide insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Merchandising Compliance: Ensure all merchandising activities comply with company standards, branding, and legal requirements.
  • Training: Support Retail Excellence Lead on training facilitation

REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:

  • Strong ability to influence store support as a result of relationship and partnership building
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and understands when to seek guidance
  • Comfortable with computer skills in Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook as well as the ability to use an iPad and corresponding applications
  • Minimum of 4 years of in-person retail selling experience
  • Ambitious and self-motivated sales individual who exhibits confidence and professionalism
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience, achieving or exceeding quotas
  • Ability to work retail hours (standard, peak, holiday) including a minimum of three (3) days/week including every Saturday/Sunday (vacation blackout periods during key peak periods)
  • Ability to travel
  • Experience in consumer electronics or beauty is considered an asset
  • Solid experience designing blended training curriculum
  • A good understanding of training principles, methodology, and evaluation
  • Knowledge and expertise in using and managing eLearning on Learning management systems
