Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory management role
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and check shipments for discrepancies.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with warehouse staff, suppliers, and customers.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify problems and take corrective actions to resolve issues in inventory management, safety, or order fulfillment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items during extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software. Proficiency in using basic office tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in warehouse management or logistics are a plus.
- Certifications: Forklift certification and any relevant logistics or inventory management certifications are preferred.
- Health and Safety Awareness: Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and protocols.
