Job Responsibilities:

Responsible to handle all aspects of Pre and Post Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration.
Prepare quotations, estimate cost, control costs, and budgeting
Responsible for Taking-off quantities.
Evaluate costs from subcontractors and, where appropriate, negotiate with the subcontractors.
Compilation of cost comparisons and recommendations.
Monitor projects including materials and subcontractor cost forecasts strictly adhere to the agreed budget
Valuation of subcontractors' progress claims and Variation Orders.
Discussion, preparation, and submission of Variation Orders.
Responsible to prepare cost estimation, tender submission, and contract for sub-contractor.
Monitor and keep track of project progress.
Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the client are delivered.
Any other duties that deem necessary from time to time.
Traveling from the office to various sites as required.
Other ad hoc tasks required by the management.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil, Building, Engineering, Management, or similar.
Construction estimating or finance experience is advantageous.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
Great networking abilities.
Have experience with JKR or government project especially road construction & infrastructure.
Good knowledge on JKR & local authority’s specifications, standards & requirements.
Preferably with working experience in related fields with minimum 3-4 years of experience.
Committed to work and willing to work extra time when required.
Self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently as well as able to work with others as a team.
