Technician (Proton)

1. Vehicle Maintenance and Repair:

• Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
• Diagnosing Issues: Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems in vehicles.
• Repair Work: Carry out repairs on various vehicle systems including the engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical components.

2. Vehicle Inspection:

• Safety Inspections: Conduct safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards and are roadworthy.

3. Technical Support:

• Assisting Senior Technicians: Support senior technicians with more complex repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to explain vehicle issues and recommended repairs in a clear and professional manner.

4. Tool and Equipment Management:

• Tool Maintenance: Ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Service Reports: Prepare detailed reports on the condition of vehicles and the work performed for both internal records and customer communication.

6. Compliance and Safety:

• Safety Standards: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Compliance: Follow company policies and industry regulations related to vehicle maintenance and repair.

7. Continuous Learning:

• Training: Participate in training programs to stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
• Certification: Pursue relevant certifications and licenses as required by the company or industry standards.

8. General Duties:

• Workshop Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop area.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to ensure efficient service and repair operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
