Refrigeration Supervisor

1. To control all Engine Room work safety and operation; 2. To carry out Preventive Maintenance and Repair Maintenance System; 3. To carry out the compressor system, engine room equipment, project, repair and overhaul with good engineering practices; 4. To work with facilities personnel on checking, maintaining and servicing the refrigerant equipment (Freezers and Cold Room); 5. Immediately respond and attend to emergency call even after working hour, during rest day or holidays; 6. May request work on shift whereby necessary checking the system operation, replacement of personnel, system problems or others; 7. Responsible to train/educate the engine room personnel on safety and basic knowledge of the compressor system related to their job; 8. To train and / educate and assign job to the Engine Room personnel to service, maintain and repair all the compressor equipment; 9. Fully in charge of the daily operation of refrigeration compressor units including all operator roster, leaves and overtime; 10. To control and improve compressor personnel daily attendance and job performance; 11. To keep all Engine Room safe, neat and clean as per requirement in the HACCP and the local regulation. (No refrigerant gases leakage). 12. To ensure the refrigerant compressor system on the energy saving configuration; 13. Perform audit document, report and record; 14. Other responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time. Performance Measure: 1. The assessment report of those he is responsible (Compressor operators); 2. The arrangement of roster, overtime and leave of those directly under his responsibility; 3. The detail record drawing and report on compressor piping/ system, operation procedures, maintenance schedule, stock control (refrigerant gases, chemical, lubricant oil and compressor spare part); 4. Compressor system and refrigerant equipment down time.
