AIR DIVER NDT

Roles and Responsibilities:  Shall be responsible for undertaking duties as required by the diving supervisor as defined in the Project Plan.  Shall inform the Diving Supervisor if they are unfit to dive or if taking any medication. Qualifications and Competencies:  Shall possess minimum SPM or equivalent.  Must have an IMCA recognised Surface-Supplied Diver Certificate.  Must have a valid First Aid at work Certificate and O2 administration conforming to the requirements of DMAC11 (Cert’s valid for maximum 3 years) or IMCA recognised diver medic certificate.  Must have 2 years’ experience in construction/inspection diving related to offshore activities.  For DP vessels: Must have a minimum of 6 months DP vessel experience or have DP training and familiarization conducted offshore.  Shall be competent to carry out all the underwater tasks given to him under the contract and be proficient in the use of all equipment supplied by contractor to complete those tasks.  Shall be thoroughly familiar with all diving rules, regulations and procedures, and shall be thoroughly familiar with diving emergency procedures and decompression procedures (including therapeutic decompression procedures).  Have a valid offshore Diving medical certificate from a doctor certified as Level 1 Medical assessment of divers (Medical Examiner of Divers). In addition to the above, for NDT Inspection Air Diver: - Shall have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a NDT Diver. - Shall hold NDT inspection qualifications in accordance with the Certification Schemes for Welding Inspection Personnel (CSWIP 3.2U) or ASNT for Malaysian diver only subject to approval by COMPANY.
