Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Record Management
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets.
  • Ensure accurate data entry of financial transactions.
  • Reconciliations and Reporting
  • Assist in bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Administrative Support
  • Manage correspondence related to accounts, including emails and phone calls.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and distribution.
  • Handle filing, scanning, and archiving of financial documents.
  • Compliance and Auditing
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulations, and internal controls.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Collaboration and Coordination
  • Work closely with other departments to resolve invoicing and payment issues.
  • Support the Accounting Manager and team with ad hoc tasks and projects.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AAT, ACCA) are a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
