JOB REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor’s Degree civil engineering or any field discipline in engineering with minimum 5 years relevant experience in a similar position of supply chain management, procurement, logistic, construction, engineering and equivalent.
- Possess good interpersonal skills with sound written and oral communication skills with multi-disciplinary engineering adaptation.
- Exposure in construction and engineering knowledge is an added advantage..
JOB SUMMARY:
- Provide day-to-day contract administration support and manage and administer the full life-cycle of the procurement and contracts processes.
- Plan and use fruitful sourcing strategies to discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms, contractors on price, mode of shipping and delivery time.
- Draft complex legally binding contracts, agreements or instruments such as non-disclosure, lease agreements, purchase orders, contracts and subcontracts utilizing both custom and standard terms and conditions.
- Process purchase orders; develops bids, proposals and contract; and reconcile any invoice discrepancies.
- Track and report project costing to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Liaise with related department to determine their product and service needs related to engineering & construction materials.
- Negotiate with suppliers on long term cost reduction programs, pricing, payment term, expedite and ensure smooth supply of materials to meet production requirements.
- Develop and manage procurement policies, procedures and programs with a focus on their ability to enhance organizational value and efficiency.
- Ensure proper maintenance of purchasing documentation record information easy accessible by sorting and filling the documents from start to end of each project.
- Sourcing and register new vendor and manage subcontractor, establish and maintain interpersonal relationships, as well as handle complaints, settle disputes and resolve conflicts.
- Responsible for developing and negotiating subcontracts, arranging payments and analyzing subcontract claim.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly report to HOD.
- To perform any other tasks as requested by the superiors and management and to generally perform all administrative work.
- To strictly adhere to ISO and OHS requirements when carry out auditing and daily task.
