Position Overview:
The Law Enforcement Lecturer will deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures to students enrolled in law enforcement programs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Curriculum Development
  • Plan and deliver lectures, workshops, and seminars on topics such as criminal law, investigation techniques, ethics, criminology, and law enforcement policies.
  • Develop, update, and review course syllabi and instructional materials to reflect current laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Design and implement practical exercises, case studies, and simulations to enhance students' real-world understanding.
  • Student Mentorship and Assessment
  • Guide and mentor students in their academic and professional development.
  • Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and class participation.
  • Supervise student research projects, internships, or practicums related to law enforcement.
  • Industry Collaboration and Engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies and professionals.
  • Invite guest speakers and arrange field visits to enhance students' learning experience.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws, enforcement practices, and technology advancements.
  • Research and Scholarly Activities
  • Engage in research related to law enforcement, criminology, or related fields.

  • Administrative Duties
  • Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum reviews, and accreditation processes.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, or a related field (PhD preferred).
  • Professional Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in law enforcement, criminal justice, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian legal and enforcement systems is a significant advantage.
  • Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
