Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Accounting Data Entry Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering financial data into our accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software (Xero)
- Data entry of invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and other financial documents
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Assist with other accounting tasks as needed
Requirements:
Essential:
- Proven experience in data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and speed
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data validation, etc.)
- Excellent typing skills with high accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable:
- Prior experience with accounting software
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
Other Requirements:
- Own laptop
- Working physically in office
- Availability to work part-time (flexible hours may be available)
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: RM10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
