Key Responsibilities:

  • Environmental Compliance: Ensure construction projects adhere to local, state, and federal environmental laws and regulations.
  • Environmental Risk Assessment: Evaluate potential environmental impacts of construction activities and develop risk mitigation plans.

  • Liaison: Serve as a point of contact between the construction team, local authorities, and environmental agencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in environmental management, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with environmental laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Experience with environmental risk assessments and sustainability initiatives.
  • Knowledge of environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001).
  • Ability to conduct environmental audits and inspections.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in managing environmental risks or non-compliance.
