Global E2E Planning Functional and Data Expert Lead

The job holder will coordinate a small team of functional planning experts to ensure that the needs of Castrol’s planning processes and requirements are met during the design, configuration and deployment of SAP S4 Hana around the world.

In this role You will:

  • Have a deep and wide understanding of Castrol’s planning processes as applied and integrated across the digital world, with depth of knowledge in applicable ERP static and transactional data source systems, flows and use by the Global Planning System (Kinaxis Rapid Response), as well as flows back into the ERPs through closed loop. The role will lead a small team of 3 within the global S&OP Excellence team to be the custodians and owners of the Planning design and implementation of SAP S4 Hana ERP across all geographies.
  • Ensure the SAP S4 Hana solution which replaces SAP instances and JDE, will maintain or improve the planning outcomes through appropriate process linkages between SAP S4 Hana with the Global Planning processes and system (Kinaxis RR) to meet Castrol customer expectations and the requirements of the business in optimising cost and inventory.
  • Ensure the future ERP is set-up and configured to optimise the wider digital ecosystem; in particular improving the Kinaxis planning system for end to end planning orchestration. This will involve standardising Castrol planning processes, crafting and working with the global Quantum team to ensure the required efficient and effective data flows into and out of Kinaxis Rapid Response to support appropriate planning and inventory deployment in order to meet and prioritise Castrol’s customers’ needs.
  • Work extensively with a wider team of internal and external technology and digital guides and will need to collaborate closely to ensure the functional needs of Castrol planning teams across the PUs.

What You will need to be successful:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in End 2 End Planning Management with the Castrol business, preferably in a global or multi-regional environment
  • Deep expertise and knowledge of ERP systems (SAP and JDE)
  • Excellent proficiency and knowledge of Kinaxis Rapid Response planning system across demand and supply planning areas
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Certifications: APICS CSCP, CPIM, or similar certification is highly desirable.
