Who we’re looking for / The role

This role serves as a key leader of our Marketing Team, serving one of our core markets - Malaysia. You’ll work directly with the Head of Marketing, Co-founders, Marketing ICs, and cross-functional teams to strategize and execute the full spectrum of marketing & brand activities, implementing them seamlessly as we scale-up brand and product awareness and usage amongst consumers in Malaysia.
Core Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy, Planning & Execution (50%)
- Formulate and execute our annual marketing plan, aiming to achieve the company’s growth objectives in building strong mental availability of our brand and products
- Ensure effective channel and cross-channel execution from digital to instore marketing; this means deep diving, understanding and directing channel excellence across social media, ecommerce, paid ads, as well as perfect store execution via effective point of sale materials
- Allocate, manage, and reallocate the marketing budget to maximize outcomes aligned with the overall growth strategy
- Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, design and other teams to execute marketing strategies
- Direct and/or ensure that the brief and creation of marketing assets - videos, social posts, collaterals, instore materials etc. result in output that is able to both grow distinctive brand assets, as well as drive marketing outcomes, by using first principles thinking and consumer intuition
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative consumer research to improve the marketing mix on an ongoing basis without the support of agencies
- Work hand in hand with trade marketers and retail key account managers to support the growth of strategic key accounts through brand-led and commercially strong POSMs, GWP/content mechanics, and other efforts thru joint business planning
Campaign Ideation, Planning, and Execution (20%)
- Lead the brainstorming and planning process for marketing campaigns - develop comprehensive campaign plans, including timelines, budgets, and KPIs with the team
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, by driving outcomes through the ability to think strategically high-level, while also obsessing over the detailed minutiae
- Evaluate campaign results and derive insights for future strategies
Team Leadership & Development, Performance Metrics & Reporting (20%)
- Closely mentor, guide and enable direct reports within Marketing and Ecommerce with clarity and focus so that they can achieve and grow
- Track, analyze and report marketing and ecommerce performance metrics, and propose areas to double-down on growth opportunities or adjust strategy/execution.
Activation Marketing (10%)
- Plan and execute activation events aimed at acquiring and engaging consumers.
- Recruit and train product fans to be high-energy, well-trained sales promoters
- Manage event logistics & execution, including venue/event organizer selection, setup, and breakdown, as well as external parties or agencies where applicable.
- Measure the effectiveness and ROI of events, making data-driven adjustments for future initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5-7+ years experience in marketing, brand management, growth, ecommerce or other business roles in the consumer industry (ideally in a high-growth environment)
- You are execution driven with a strong bias for action, with both the ability and humility to do the hands-on work and the strategic work needed to make the initiatives planned a success
- A hunger for growth - this is critical because you will be pulling the biggest levers of Blood’s growth
- Fast learner and a team player, good communication and people skills, while being detailed-oriented
- A sharp eye for creating clear, compelling headlines, visuals, and messaging that drive both brand impact and commercial success
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision making

Pay: RM8,500.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
