Financial Management:

  • Handle full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and manage monthly financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

Banking and Reconciliation:

  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in cash flow records.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to support daily operations.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and report variances.

Compliance and Audits:

  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
  • Prepare necessary documents and liaise with auditors during internal and external audits.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Oversee invoice processing, payment scheduling, and follow-ups for outstanding receivables.
  • Maintain accurate vendor and customer records.

Taxation:

  • Prepare and submit SST and other relevant tax filings.
  • Stay updated on tax regulations and implement necessary changes.

Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Work closely with other departments, such as procurement and operations, to manage budgets and costs.
  • Report directly to the Finance Manager or Director on financial performance.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and controls.
  • Implement best practices to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a related role is preferred
  • Fresh graduate is welcome to apply.
  • Able to communicate in English. Additional language is preferred.
  • Proficient in accounting software Auto count.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
