Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards, and maintaining consistent quality throughout service.
Supervise junior kitchen staff and line cooks working in your section, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operation and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
Monitor inventory levels for your section, place orders for necessary ingredients, and ensure proper storage and handling of all food items to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
Responsible for plating and decorating dishes to ensure presentation standards.
Follow recipes and food safety standards to maintain food quality and safety.
Coordinate and support kitchen team during busy periods.
Participate in the development and testing of new dishes, and adjust menus and food offerings as needed.

Relevant culinary or hospitality degree or certificate, or equivalent experience.
At least 2-3 years of experience working in a professional kitchen, preferably in a similar role or position, with a strong background in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes.
Language requirement: Mandarin
Proficiency in various cooking techniques and methods, with the ability to manage a specific section of the kitchen effectively, such as the grill, pastry, or sauce section.
Strong leadership skills to supervise and train junior kitchen staff, excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with other team members, and the ability to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Basic understanding and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
